Turnstyle Soundsystem is comprised of veteran Virginia deejay’s Jesse Split & Joanna O. The pair are Virginia natives that now call Richmond home. Their musical styles range from lush house beats & funky breakbeats to jazzy jungle, and even techno.  As individual artists they have gained a following of electronic music enthusiasts in Virginia and beyond. Together, their sound and style is undeniable. Both are innovative in the track selection, and display superb mixing skills on the turntables.

Since 1996, the Turnstyle duo have been committed to the positive growth of electronic music community statewide in Virginia by gaining a solid reputation amongst their peers for moving the masses. From their past & current event productions, to their successful record store “Turnstyle” , and their weekly FM Radio show “Frequency” on WRIR 97.3fm Richmond, the pair work hard at representing a factor of quality throughout all they do.
